What Is A Good Brand Of Dog Clippers? And What Attachments Shoould I Get To Go Along With It?
There are several on the market now that wasn’t around when I was grooming. I used either Power Clippers ($300), Oster ($125). Andies ($125).
You will need several different blades, #30 for cleaning a wound, this blade cuts like a shaver real close to the skin. You will need the following blades #10, #9, #7 (I used this blade most of the time on body work to cut it short but not down to the skin. Stripping a matted dog) & a #5 & a # 4.
Most clippers come with a #10 blade but you have to buy the others seperately. They will range from $25 & up.
I do not like using the attachable combs I would rather scissor clip.

Use the clippers made for the size of your dog… Then use a dremel made for dogs to file the edges. There will be directions on the package as to how to introduce the dremel to the dog…
good luck
