Why Do Dog Clippers Become Dull When Trimming Dog’s Hair?

Using the oil provided upon purchase does not keep blades from dulling,nor does repeated cleaning of blades.Any help would be appreciated,Thank You,Chad Mueller

    for the very same reason razors become dull with use. The oil is to lubricate and reduce friction, not sharpen the blade.

    It’s like knifes they get dull over time…that’s why you have to sharpen them every so often and buy new ones… You don’t think they last forever do you?
