Head over to the new U-Wash Doggie – 101 W. California Boulevard 1-626-795-7777
You wash and groom yourself, and they have helpful folks that will give you guidance. Groom there once or twice then do it yourself at home.
depends on what kind of dog u have. Go to the library and look up grooming tips for your breed. Its not really hard to groom one yhourself, it may not look professional the first couple of times but you’ll get the hang of it. Most pet stores have books on grooming dogs, or watch someone groom yours first and then try it at home later when its time for a groom again. Your dog won’t know the difference if its not perfect, just be carefull cutting the nails. On light colored nails, look at them from the underside. You can see where the “quick” starts and just trim the ends, you need to leave room to file them down after clipping cause they will be sharp and this gets all the rough edges off. On black colored nails its hard to see the quick so just trim the very very ends, and then file them down. Too much clipping will make your dogs feet sore and also cause bleeding, like when u cut yuour nails too short.
