So I have a set of clippers that I use to cut my hair. Its so hot outside and I wanna shave my dog but I just didnt know if I could use the clippers. Are they strong enough to cut her thick hair?

There are several on the market now that wasn’t around when I was grooming. I used either Power Clippers ($300), Oster ($125). Andies ($125).
You will need several different blades, #30 for cleaning a wound, this blade cuts like a shaver real close to the skin. You will need the following blades #10, #9, #7 (I used this blade most of the time on body work to cut it short but not down to the skin. Stripping a matted dog) & a #5 & a # 4.
Most clippers come with a #10 blade but you have to buy the others seperately. They will range from $25 & up.
I do not like using the attachable combs I would rather scissor clip.
I’m looking at the Turbo A5 two speed clippers, the Golden A5 two speed clippers, and the PowerMax 2-speed clipper, all by Oster. What’s the difference? I have two toy poodle mixes.
Using the oil provided upon purchase does not keep blades from dulling, nor does repeated cleaning of blades.Any help would be appreciated,Thank You,Chad Mueller
I am at my inlaws house and they have to shih tzu dogs. The groomer is sick and in the hosptial and the dogs need grooming bad! I have the clippers, but need some instructions. Does anyone know where I can find a video or step by step instructions on the net that will tell me how to do this?
I have two springer spaniels at home that require a good bit of grooming so I want a cordless clipper that will not only stand the test of time, but will cut through their hair like a knife through hot butta
Our neighbor gave us his rabbit because his kids got bored of it. I don’t know anything about rabbits. How often and how do I bathe him? His nails are like half an inch long… can I cut them with my puppies nail clippers? What do they play with? Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.
I saw them in a magazine and was wondering if they really work.
and how long before I have to cut them again?
I have my Bearded Collie clipped 6 or so times a year. I would like to buy some clippers to do him myself. Please will you tell me what brand of clippers you would reccommend or what brands to stear clear of?
